Refund and Returns Policy

At BhatiaCane.com, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our cane furniture. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not work out as planned.

Please read our policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities regarding returns, refunds, and replacements.


1. 7-Day Return Policy

We offer a 7-day return window for eligible items, starting from the date the shipment is delivered to your address.

  • Eligibility Window: You must initiate a return request within 7 days of receiving your order. If 7 days have passed since your delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

  • Condition of Item: To be eligible for a return, the furniture/item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.


2. Damaged or Defective Items (Replacement Guarantee)

We take utmost care in packaging and shipping our furniture. However, in the rare event that your shipment arrives damaged or defective, we will take full responsibility.

  • Replacement: If the item is damaged during transit or has a manufacturing defect, we will arrange for a free replacement. You do not need to pay for shipping in this case.

  • How to Report:

    1. Inspect your package immediately upon delivery.

    2. If you notice any damage, please take clear photos and videos of the product and the packaging.

    3. Send these proofs to us via email at bhatiacane@gmail.com or WhatsApp at +91-9837081931 within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Resolution: Once verified, we will pick up the damaged piece and dispatch a fresh replacement to you at the earliest.


3. Returns Due to Personal Preference

If you wish to return a product because you changed your mind, do not like the style/color, or ordered the wrong size (where the product itself is not defective):

  • Return Shipping Cost: The Buyer (You) will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item.

  • Logistics: Since furniture is bulky and heavy, courier charges can be significant. Please be aware that return shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Refund Calculation: If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping (if arranged by us on your behalf) will be deducted from your final refund amount. Alternatively, you may ship the item back to our warehouse using a trackable shipping service of your choice.


4. Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Customized/Made-to-Order Furniture: Items specifically customized for you cannot be returned unless they are defective.

  • Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned.

  • Used/Altered Items: Any item that shows signs of use, wear and tear, or has been altered by the customer.


5. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will notify you via email or message.

  1. Inspection: We will check the product to ensure it is unused and in original condition.

  2. Approval/Rejection: We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the inspection.

  3. Processing:

    • If approved, your refund will be processed immediately.

    • A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment (UPI/Net Banking).

    • Please allow 7–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account, depending on your bank’s processing time.


6. Order Cancellation

  • Before Dispatch: You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched from our warehouse for a full refund.

  • After Dispatch: Once the order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. In such cases, our standard Return Policy (Section 3) will apply, and return shipping charges will be borne by the buyer.
